<aside> 📌 As we scale, it will soon become difficult to manually enter all pool information upon deployment. The best way to know which pools are open is to visit Cross Pool itself. If you're interested in participating in Cross Pool, fill out this form and follow along with Hot Cross' progress at updates.hotcross.com!

Cross Pool is a member of the Hot Cross product suite that offers a secure and decentralized way of rewarding users for staking both LP tokens and single-sided, traditional BEP20 tokens. The protocol can technically work for various staking scenarios and on any EVM network. However, in the first stage, it will be used as a means of distributing a new token and rewarding users for staking other LP or BEP20 tokens. The $HOTCROSS
token itself was distributed in part by using Cross Pool.

💡 The total value of initial rewards emitted from Cross Pool during its second phase launch is $2.5M USD, with that consisting of a mix between $HOTCROSS
stakers, $HOTCROSS-$BNB
LP's, R&D pools, and a few partner-pools tossed in for good measure. 🤝

📌 Where do pools come from? For the most part pools come from third parties, i.e. other teams. During the initial launch phase, however, many of the non-$HOTCROSS
pools are subsidized by us. Why? Two reasons: research and marketing. Without research we do not know what our users want. Without marketing who will discover the product? Riddle me this. 🐷
